To make daily life easier and safer, we can help arrange access to helpful items through your Home Care Package. These might include things like walking aids, personal alarms, adaptive cutlery, continence products, and tools designed to support mobility or posture. Everything is tailored to your individual needs and safety.
We can connect you with qualified professionals—like physiotherapists, podiatrists, chiropractors, and others—who offer treatments aimed at improving comfort, mobility, and day-to-day function. These supports are available when linked to age-related health needs and not covered under other government schemes.
While standard medications and supplements covered by the PBS or MBS aren’t funded through your Home Care Package, we can help with specialist nutrition when recommended by your health team. This might include thickened fluids, nutritional drinks, or specific foods to support swallowing or brain function.
If simple tasks around the house are becoming harder to manage safely—like replacing light bulbs or fixing a leaking tap—we can organise help. We can also arrange minor home upgrades, like handrails or ramps, where these changes support your safety and have been agreed in your care plan.
We offer cleaning assistance to help you maintain a clean, healthy, and comfortable living environment. This can include vacuuming, dusting, washing clothes, and other routine tasks. In some cases, more intensive cleaning may be included if needed for health or safety.
Getting to appointments, doing the shopping, or heading out to social activities shouldn’t be a barrier to independence. We can assist with transport by helping organise taxi vouchers or fuel cards, depending on your location and needs. While general vehicle costs aren’t covered, we make it easier to stay connected and active.
